I’m trying to be back on track with this blogging thingy, Insyaallah. So much to tell, and yet too little time to spend with.

Anyway, please visit our new Library Catalogue , and yes, please give us feedback since this system is newly migrated.

I just read about one of our colleagues from ICT dept, CFS PJ. He passed away last friday due to an accident. Al-Fatihah to Arwah Asmady Zakaria … and condelence to his family.

**Mama dan Papa sedang menonton TV, seraya mama berkata. “..i letih
la..dah lewat ni, i nak tido lah….”***

**Mama pun pegi dapur nak tutup tingkap dapur, nanti masuk pulak
lipas…leceh pulak nanti..dah tu, ade pulak rice cooker dalam
sink..rendam lepas makan tadi..basuh jap… **
**susun pinggan kat rak, lap dapur..terpercik kena sambal masa masak
tadi…check air panas dalam flusk..takut habis pulak nanti malam anak
nak susu…memang dah kering pun flusk ni, jerang la air…sementara
tunggu air masak, nampak pulak bekas gula dah kosong….salin la
gula…chec k bubur untuk anak nak hantar ke taska esok..nasib baik ade
lagi…ishh…ni lauk bila ni, semalam…dah beku dah…basuh la
kejap….pegi yard, masukkan baju kotor dalam mesin basuh…penat dah
ni, besok je la basuh…sidai kaian lap je lah…**
**tik…bunyi air dah masak…salin air dalam flusk…ok settle…**

**baru teringat tak semayang lagi…on da way nak g bilik, papa tgk tv
lagi…nampak pulak beg anak untuk hantar ke taska…check…baju 2
pasang, towel…towel kecik utk selsama…calamine lotion untuk sapu
ruam…pampers 4 keping….alamak..telupa pulak masukkan botol…basuh
botol jap…ok settle…**

**ternampak pulak beg g keje…emm..besok nak pakai beg polo coklat lah,
asik2 pakai beg hitam ni je…salin jap barang2 g beg coklat…cek sume
6 poket beg, takut la tetinggal apa2..leceh pulak..selalunya barang yang
tertinggal tu la yang nak pakai nanti…hishhh sempit la beg ni…hangin
je…nak kena beli ni beg baru…rasenya 25 hb ni Sogo sale nih…mana
flyers tadi ek…ha ni die..ok, catit jap kat yellow sticker, nanti
lupa..ok settle…**

**Tetiba dengar suara papa…”..u buat apa lagi tu..tadi kata nak
tido..”….”..yelah nak tido la ni..nak smayang jap…”**

**masuk toilet..buat apa2 yang patut…cuci muka dulu..2 jenis lak
tu…adoi..gosok gigi…smayang…pakai toner…pakai treatment
cream…nak lawa and maintain punya pasal lah ni…**
**nanti orang kata baru anak satu dah macam anak 4 pulak…huhuhuhu…**

**bukak almari…emmm…pakai baju hijau ni lah besok…gosok
kejap..check baju papa, baju papa pun kena gosok jugak ni…kat bilik
belakang…**
**la, napa komputer ni tak tutup ni..gelas kopi pun ade lagi, dah
bersemut dah..ishhh …g dapur, basuh, sambung gosok baju…gantung
elok2…kemaskan baju gantung2…masukkan seluar papa yang dah kotor
dalam tempat kotor…ok  settle.. **

**dgr suara papa lagi…”..i dah ngantuk ni..”..dalam pada nak masuk ke
bilik…owh…pokok aku dah nak mati ni ha..lu pa dah 3 hari tak
siram…ok, siram jap…check jap pintu ni…sah tak kunci lagi…grill
pun tak tutup..ni kalau tak check ni, senang2 je mat indon masuk rompak
umah aku…bukak lampu luar..**

**ni mainan ni sepah2…masukkan la dalam bakul mainan budak ni…banyak
nya…sampai bawah meja makan pun ade…adoi….ok dah …**

**ok dah boleh baring…adoi sakitnya pinggang…cium si comel ni
kejap…selimutkan die…la..napa basah ni…emm, tukar la pempers
ni…tak bagus la brand ni, nanti nak tukar lain la…nanti g Sogo 25 hb
ni beli la skali…ok sayang tido k…kalau boleh jangan la bangun tgh
malam ni eh..tido sampai pagi k…gud nite..sweet dreams…**

**aaahh…sedapnya dapat baring…mana pulak lotion sapu kurus aku
nih…ha, ni dia…sambil sapu lotion kurus,,,setkan alarm…setkan
program kerja besok…pg kul 9.30 ade meeting..**
**ahh…boring…panas pulak lotion nih..dah la…emm..sedapnya lelapkan
mata…Ya Allah…terima kasih untuk rezekiMU hari ini,. ..mohon
keberkatan dari mu tuhan…papa pun bangun tutup tv…”…i dah ngantuk
sangat ni…nak tido lah…citer pun tak best malam ni, bola pun
takde…”…selang seminit  …dengar suara papa berkeruh…dah agak
dah….**

**So?….apa yang peliknya..??**

Upin dan Ipin … has been my sons’ favourite since its debut in TV9 2 years ago. Not only kids love the story and characters, myself as an adult @ mother enjoys the story of cute Upin and Ipin. Just now I received the Upin and Ipin notebooks and pens which I ordered via online …. and very looking forward to give them to my fanatic sons

OVERVIEW

Upin & Ipin is an animation series about two 5-year-old twins, Upin and Ipin, telling their first experience fasting for the first time in the month of Ramadhan. It is being told from their perspective in such a way that is simple, comical and hilarious. Their grandmother, Opah and elder sister Ros, will give them advice and guidance as the story goes on. The good values will be easily understood by the children and will give a lasting impression upon them, as it is interwind into the plots and subtle manner. Although the series is tailored during the fasting month, they are also suitable to be shown all year round as it has educational and moral values for children.

SYNOPSIS

Upin & Ipin are back in the new Ramadhan series with more fun and exciting experience in learning how to fast. Meet their new friends Mail-the mischievous one, Jarjit a young boy with a huge voice who always gets left out, and not to forget, their kindergarten teacher Miss Jasmin. Both of them were exhilarated to fast the whole month again this year. This time Upin and Ipin learn more about the real meaning of Ramadhan and Syawal, giving and sharing with others and learn to appreciate with what they had. Moral values are instilled in the series but in an entertaining way, teaching children to be grateful and cherish the holy month.

Alhamdulillah … I should say last week was a relief for me since I have found a temporary maid ( for 1 month as promised) .. until I get the permanent one. And also last week was a grieve for my family as my dearly Nenek passed away last Monday. Hope her “ruh” will be together with “orang2 beriman dan dirahmati Allah”. Al-Fatihah.

The Palestine issue still hit all mainstream news with tragic and sadist pictures. Pray for their victory .. for Islam victory to be precise!

Al Quran : (22) Al Hajj Ayat : 40

(yaitu) orang-orang yang telah diusir dari kampung halaman mereka tanpa alasan yang benar, kecuali karena mereka berkata: “Tuhan kami hanyalah Allah”. Dia-lah yang mengeluarkan orang-orang kafir di antara ahli kitab dari kampung-kampung mereka pada saat pengusiran yang pertama. Kamu tidak menyangka, bahwa mereka akan keluar dan merekapun yakin, bahwa benteng-benteng mereka dapat mempertahankan mereka dari (siksa) Allah; maka Allah mendatangkan kepada mereka (hukuman) dari arah yang tidak mereka sangka-sangka. Dan Allah melemparkan ketakutan dalam hati mereka; mereka memusnahkan rumah-rumah mereka dengan tangan mereka sendiri dan tangan orang-orang mukmin. Maka ambillah (kejadian itu) untuk menjadi pelajaran, hai orang-orang yang mempunyai wawasan. (QS. 59:2) 

Al Quran : (5) Al Maa’idah Ayat : 52

Maka kamu akan melihat orang-orang yang ada penyakit dalam hatinya (orang-orang munafik) bersegera mendekati mereka (Yahudi dan Nasrani), seraya berkata: “Kami takut akan mendapat bencana”. Mudah-mudahan Allah akan mendatangkan kemenangan (kepada Rasul-Nya), atau sesuatu keputusan dari sisi-Nya. Maka karena itu, mereka menjadi menyesal terhadap apa yang mereka rahasiakan dalam diri mereka. (QS. 5:52)

Besides trying to have a smooth Monday, I was terribly sorry for my son Nabil … I realized it was my carelessness and Monday temper! oucchh!!!

I had this emergency brake on the way to the office this morning .. and it slammed Nabil to the driver’s seat .. my poor son :-(. Fortunately and Alhamdulillah he was fine .. I couldn’t imagine if he slammed to the front of the car… Na’uzubillah … So driving parents!! .. please ensure your passengers children to fasten their seat belt at the back.

That incident really gives me an emotional distraction .. especially today …  Monday!!

Alhamdulilah, both my brother and sister (with their spouses) are safely back from Hajj last saturday. And the good thing, the flight was not delay. The ETA was at 8.45pm and the flight landed at 9.02pm. They left for Hajj 42 days ago with Jihad leaving their children age between 6 - 18 in hometown and Alhamdulillah they reunited last saturday night with tears and joy.

Ok.. enough of last week incident.. today is the registration of ex-CFS students and my niece (pulak .. sampai 2 org masuk IIUM :-P) went through a smooth registration, Alhamdulillah. Eventhough I was not there this morning, my sister sms-ed me , by 9.30am they could already “hangkut” all her daughters barang macam nak pindah rumah  things to Mahallah. It’s good to hear that, isn’t it?

Yesterday was the registration of direct intakes for semII in Gombak. I was there .. sending my nephew. We reached CAC around 11 am, no queues, no proper information counters… and we got the number of 806! Fuuuhhhhh!!!

Half an hour has passed and we couldn’t hear the numbers called by the secretariat. After asking one of them, the number was just reached 550!!… Ehmmm 300++ more to go. And the clock striked 11.30am, so we decided to buy additional things for him at Giant Sri Gombak. We managed to buy things and had lunch there.

At 1.30pm we reached back CAC and checked out the numbers called. WHATTTTT!!!! It only reached 600++ .. only 100+ numbers were called in 2 hours!! (Ini betul punye slow! Macam siput!)

Okay then, we decided to go for Zuhr and estimated at 3.00pm to go back again to CAC. At 3.15pm, the number only reached 700++. Tired waiting in the hall, I sat in the car until 4.30pm and still my nephew had not finished his registration process. The smart card photograph krews wrapped up at 5.05pm and he was still in the registration hall. I just could not imagine HOW they (AnR to whom it may concerned) organize and manage the registration process… it has dragged us for 7 hours to finish the WHOLE process!!! And we still need to go to Mahallah for room registration. ** I’ve asked my nephew whether he had problems during the registration… and he said “nope!.. my forms were all clear and settled!”

To cut it short (even it was long up there), we drove home at 6.40pm and reached Kajang at 7.30pm!! Frankly, I just could not understand WHY the process was too SLOW. The process can be improved .. can be shorten and simplified .. we are here to serve the community and will do the best for our customer, aren’t we?  To make the students/parents/relatives wait for hours for the registration process is really annoying (please forgive me to use this word) and sooooo unreasonable.

I hope…really hope this scenario will not be our culture in doing things.. especially to our students/parents etc. And it is hoped that this process can be simplified / shorten in next enrollment .. please try to be efficient!!

I received an email from a personnel of AnR this morning and explained what happened. I understand what they had experienced on the day. I really appreciate her response.

Starts December, we are operating with a small strength of 7. Yes.. just 7 of us!! to serve the community of over 2000! Plus night library hours.

With all the limitations in manpower and facilities, services must go on. Services must be AA quality .. and I just collapsed today .. I am on medical leave. ()*&@&^(*&#)(@!*($&@*&$*

Today I continue updating the new CFS library blog. Hope to be an informative blog and interesting .. well.. still looks static and official. I need to do some blogs hopping for innovative library blog .. the objective is to attract library customers to drop by and get information for their needs or so.
