Nokia urges Linux developers to learn business

Open-source developers targeting the mobile space need to learn business rules including digital rights management, Nokia’s software chief has claimed. I disagree.. I think the Open Source community (linux, freeBSD) should rewrite the rules, not get on board with the “status quo.” Of course the Big Players want Open Source to play along for profit oriented and definately it would reinforce the current market paradigm.. I vote to remain as open and free… and must set the standard, not follow the money… The source must be opened… and free for other to view and customize

Nokia want to profit from using community-developed software while restricting the rights of the community at the same time. That is totally capitalism oriented… Hello !… we’re not in the 90’s anymore….
