It’s hardly surprising when Israel attacked Gaza. Immediately, it crossed my mind that they are doing this because Bush the idiot President is soon to be Bush the idiot ex-President. For all his brilliance, Benitez keeps making extremely questionable decisions. 30 minutes more to go and Adebayor is sent off for a second yellow card. Personally, I think Arbeloa should get an Oscar for that one. BUT that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t try to win the game!

So what does the brilliant manager do? Switch to defensive mode. Arsenal were down to 10 men and Liverpool doesn’t bother to attack. That’s one way of winning the EPL.

Later on they send in El Zhar and Ngog. Nice. Benayoun would have offered more attacking options.

I guess Benitez/Liverpool felt guilty that Adebayor got a red card for Arbeloa’s acting skills.

Too Many Toolbars

I rarely watch Malay movies on TV or the big screen. I admit, I have a bad impression of them. Usually, the stories are just bad and sometimes the acting is not good. But mostly, it’s for the reason that the stories are badly written. Most of these movies don’t have a good “flow” and they’re half-baked as well — as though the writers ran out of ideas how to end the movie, or the writers just don’t know how to pace a good story. If you’ve watched Hongkong movies in the ’90s, you’ll get what I mean (Hongkong movies then were just made up along the way — they film without knowing what will happen next. They just have a vague idea of what they want. I haven’t watched any in a very long time, so I can’t comment). read more »
